Valerie A Smith DMD

In 2001, Dr. Smith started her own periodontal practice in Northern Virginia outside Washington DC. After practicing there for 8 years, she decided to move back to Boston. It was a great move and she now resides in downtown Boston.
Dr. Smith is active in several dental societies, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. 
Besides having a passion for the field and practice of periodontology, Dr. Smith is also current in the practice of dental implant placement and bone augmentation procedures.
When she is not helping patients, she enjoys travelling, working in her community garden and antiquing.

To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
